Home Building and Remodeling Remain Positive, Will Pick Up in 2016

As Americans are becoming more confident in the economy, the latest numbers show that home building and remodeling are continuously growing. In fact, according to the NAHB (National Association of Home Builders), “This should be a good year for housing and rising consumer confidence is back to pre-recession levels.”

The article goes on to say that “We expect 2016 to be even better with an economy that will be entering a period of reasonable strength and consistency.”

From universal designs to automated controls, here are some of the top trends we have seen throughout 2015:


Believe it or not, the holiday season is right around the corner. People are preparing to get their rebuilding or remodeling projects completed in time for those traditional family get-togethers. Even more specifically, kitchen and bath projects.

“Residential remodeling activity will increase 2.3% in 2015 over last year and rise an additional 2.4% in 2016,” said the NAHB.
